Job summary

Maxter Glove Manufacturing in Meru, Selangor is seeking an Automation / Production Engineer (Officer/Executive) to oversee machine fabrication, testing, and calibration, while managing spare parts inventory and driving automation improvements.

The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering fields, willingness to learn processes, strong documentation, and teamwork. Fresh graduates are welcome; knowledge of ISO medical device standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic or Microelectronics).
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willing to gain deeper understanding of processes and equipment.
• Strong documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ISO regulations for medical device industry is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Attend to contractors, monitor fabrication and installation of machines.
• In charge of machine testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines.
• Provide field support when necessary.
• Perform calibration tests and document project/equipment operation and specifications.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate replenishment/delivery.
• Propose and develop automation solutions for process improvement.
• Lead and manage Maintenance Department Technicians.

AUTOMATION / PRODUCTION ENGINEERS - Officer/Executive

Maxter Glove Manufacturing - Meru, Selangor

Attend to the contractors, follow up/monitor the fabrication and installation of machine, in charge of the machine testing and troubleshooting.

Perform regular preventive maintenance on the machine and provide field support when necessary.

Perform calibration test on the machine and documentation of project or equipment operation and specification.

Manage the inventory of spare part, arrange the replenishment and delivery of spare parts.

Propose and develop automation solution for process improvement.

Lead and manage Maintenance Department Technicians.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechatronics or Electrical & Electronic or Microelectronics)

Graduate from Polytechnic / Teknik are encouraged to apply.

1 to 2 years of relevant Manufacturing experience in production environment or medical device industry is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Willing to gain deeper understanding and knowledge of process and equipment used in assigned work.

Strong documentation communication (e.g. written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skill.

Knowledge of applicable ISO regulations for medical device industry is highly desirable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.

Basic understanding of statistical techniques.

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels, must be able to work in a team environment.
