Job summary

AIM Automation Solution Sdn. Bhd is seeking a qualified engineer to ensure smooth machine production. You will review mechanical and electrical drawings, verify assemblies against specifications, and identify potential issues before production begins.

You will support design changes and assist with machine integration on the shop floor. The role emphasizes production process improvement, quality documentation, and close collaboration with project engineers to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field as required.
• 1–3 years in factory automation or machine building preferred.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T and tolerances.
• Strong interest in machine automation and industrial equipment.
• Able to meet project deadlines and maintain quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical and electrical drawings before production.
• Verify that designs are practical for manufacturing and assembly.
• Identify potential production problems before assembly begins.
• Provide technical clarification to production technicians.
• Support engineering during design changes and modifications.
• Ensure engineering requirements are translated into production activities.
• Support machine assembly and integration with the production team.
• Investigate problems and propose corrective actions.
• Develop and improve assembly methods and production processes.
• Verify production work against drawings and specs.
• Maintain production engineering documents and checklists.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering or related engineering discipline

GD&T and tolerances understanding

Mechanical drawings interpretation

Pneumatics and actuators

Machine assembly

Sensors and fixtures familiarity
