Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (PLC) to analyze manufacturing processes and implement PLC-based automation. You will design and program PLC systems, including HMIs and SCADA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into production.

The role requires a degree in manufacturing or related field and 3–5 years in injection molding process engineering within high-volume environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
3–5 years in injection molding process engineering in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and cut costs.
Design, program, and maintain PLC-controlled systems including HMIs and SCADA.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to implement automation in production.
Prepare documentation such as design specs, wiring diagrams, and SOPs.
Lead commissioning, testing, and on-site troubleshooting of automated equipment.
Train production and maintenance staff on automation technologies.
Support Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM initiatives to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
