Qualifications

• Strong understanding of auto Loans and basic consumer Finance concepts.
• Knowledge of Financial Services products and processes, especially hire purchase financing.
• Proven Sales skills with the ability to meet targets in a structured environment.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including communication, active listening, and problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and customer information.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and banking teams, and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital systems; familiarity with loan processing systems is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Banking, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in auto financing or retail banking is a plus.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse customers and able to communicate clearly in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Role Description

The Auto Loan Consultant is a full-time, on-site position based in Subang Jaya. This role involves engaging with customers interested in Proton vehicle financing, explaining hire purchase loan options, and guiding applicants through the end-to-end loan application process. The Auto Loan Consultant will assess basic financial information, ensure documentation is complete and accurate, and liaise with internal teams and banking partners to facilitate timely approvals. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, providing clear and compliant product information, following up on pending applications, and maintaining up-to-date records in relevant systems. The role also supports sales initiatives, works closely with the Proton Edar sales network, and contributes to a positive customer experience.
