Job summary

Infinite Minds Academy in Selangor, Petaling Jaya is seeking a supportive Therapy Assistant to work with children with special needs. You will assist in ABA and EIP-based interventions, helping develop communication, social, behavioural, cognitive, and daily living skills.

You will collaborate with therapists, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team, prepare therapy materials, and maintain accurate session records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, special education, early childhood, behavioral science, or related field.
• Exposure to ABA or EIP practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children with special needs.
• Intern or fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized intervention programmes based on ABA and EIP principles.
• Assist in small group therapy sessions to support development of communication, social, behavioural, cognitive, and daily living skills.
• Monitor and record student progress, ensuring therapy goals are met and programmes adjusted as necessary.
• Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement intervention strategies.
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and session records.
• Assist in neurofeedback training sessions, with training provided.
