We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our dynamic team in Penang. As an Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our clients' financial statements and records. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses, providing you with diverse and valuable experience.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements and records to identify any discrepancies or irregularities

Analysing financial data and preparing detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations

Collaborating with clients to understand their operations and address any concerns or issues

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance

Providing guidance and support to clients on best practices for financial management and reporting

Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting documents

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our audit procedures and processes

What we're looking for

Qualified accountant with a recognised professional designation (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA)

Minimum 3 years of experience in external auditing, preferably within a reputable accounting firm

Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and stakeholders

Proficiency in using audit software and data analysis tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail
