Job summary

Cheong Kam Tho & Co in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Audit, Tax & Corporate Services Executive to join our established firm. You will understand clients’ business needs and provide practical insights across audits, taxation, and company secretarial matters.

You will perform audits and reviews, prepare statutory reports, mentor junior staff and contribute to our methodologies. Malaysia statutory knowledge is an asset; senior associates may lead engagements.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification or relevant working experience in audit, taxation, company secretarial practice or IT systems implementation
• ACCA, MICPA, CTIM, MAICSA or equivalent are welcome
• Part-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
• Strong analytical, communication and client-handling skills
• Familiarity with Malaysian statutory and regulatory requirements is an advantage
• Senior Associates: experience leading teams and managing client engagements independently

What you’ll do

Understand clients’ business needs and provide practical insights

Identify and resolve audit, tax, accounting and company secretarial matters

Perform audits and reviews for clients across different industries

Prepare and review statutory reports in line with professional standards

Supervise and mentor junior team members

What we’re looking for

A recognised qualification or relevant working experience in audit, taxation, company secretarial practice or IT systems implementation
