Job summary

CH Heng & Co (Chartered Accountants) in Klang, Selangor invites an experienced Senior Associate to join our external audit team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality audits for diverse clients while contributing to a collaborative, professional work environment that values integrity and excellence.

The role includes supervising junior staff, assisting in tax computations, and supporting wider accounting assignments.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Full/Partial Professional Qualification in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; training provided.
• Travel to client's offices (outstation) for duties required, self-transportation preferred.
• Experience with audit/tax software is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of clients' financial statements across industries.
• Assist our tax firm in tax computations, tax returns, & related correspondence.
• Undertake additional assignments in accounting and auditing as needed.
• Senior Associate level: supervise and mentor junior audit staff and oversee quality of their work.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our external audit team at our Klang, Selangor office. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop and advance your audit career with a respected chartered accounting firm. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, whilst working within a collaborative team environment. Your contributions will be essential to ensuring our clients receive thorough, professional and timely audit services that meet the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform audits of clients’ financial statements across a wide range of industries.
• Assist our associated tax firm in preparing tax computations, tax returns, and other tax-related correspondence for clients.
• Undertake additional assignments related to accounting and auditing as required.
• For Senior Associate level: supervising and mentoring junior audit staff and overseeing the quality of their work.

Klang office - next to KSL Explanade Mall, Bandar Bestari, Klang

Requirements

• Academic qualification: Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Full/Partial Professional Qualification in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office is mandatory, training will be provided. Experience in audit and tax software will be an added advantage.
• Transportation: Travel to client's office (including outstation) for performing duty is necessary, self-transportation is preferred.
• Assessment will be based on various criteria including work attitude, interpersonal skill, technical knowledge, academic results, and experience (for experienced hires).
