Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking an Audit Lead, Operations to drive and execute comprehensive audit engagements across the Bank’s operational functions. The role emphasizes adherence to regulatory requirements, strong governance, and effective control improvements.

You will collaborate with Functional Audit Heads and stakeholders to deliver risk-based audits, evaluate controls, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen governance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CIA, CPA, or ACCA highly preferred.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in internal/ external audit or risk management, preferably in banking/ financial services.
• Experience in banking operations, retail banking, payment operations, compliance, and digital business activities is advantageous.
• Proven experience in leading and managing audit teams and engagements.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations (e.g., BNM guidelines) and internal control frameworks (COSO).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Functional Audit Heads (FAHs) in executing the approved Audit Plan and managing audit assignments across operational functions.
• Plan, execute, and manage risk-based audit assignments to ensure objectives and scope are achieved per Audit Methodology.
• Review risk assessments and develop risk-based Audit Programs for planned audits.
• Monitor audit assignments to ensure timely completion within budget and resources.
• Plan and deploy adequate resources for each audit assignment for efficiency.
• Review audit findings and recommendations for adequacy of controls and action plans.
