RHB Group is seeking an accomplished Audit Lead, Malaysia & Regional Ops to join Group Internal Audit as Vice President. You will plan, execute, and manage risk-based audits across Malaysia and regional units, strengthening internal controls and governance.

A strong track record in leadership and regulatory compliance is essential. You will review risk assessments, allocate resources, and lead end-to-end audit processes, delivering high-quality reports and ensuring timely remediation of issues.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in accounting/finance or business.
• 8–10 years of audit experience in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of risk-based auditing, internal controls, governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven leadership of audit teams and multiple assignments.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• High integrity with sound judgment; professional certifications are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, and manage risk-based audit assignments per Audit Plan and Methodology.
• Review risk assessments and develop aligned audit programs.
• Allocate resources to audit engagements and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Lead audits across Malaysia and regional operations with quality and compliance.
• Review audit documentation and ensure clear findings and recommendations.
• Assess findings, root causes, and risk impacts before management discussions.
• Attend end-of-audit meetings and present findings.
• Prepare and review draft audit reports addressing control gaps and inefficiencies.
• Monitor rectification progress and follow up on agreed recommendations.
• Address queries from FA Heads, CIA of RHBIB, or Group CIA.
• Review new products, projects, policies ensuring adequate internal controls.
• Conduct special reviews and investigations as directed.
• Update audit programs to reflect process changes and regulatory requirements.
• Review post-BCP test documentation under GIBA purview per BCM requirements.
• Provide leadership and supervision to team members to ensure timely completion.
• Attend Audit meetings and present updates at MAC meetings as required.
