Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audit procedures on client financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing audit working papers with accuracy and proper referencing.
• Conduct audit tests on accounts, balances and controls to identify issues.
• Gather evidence to support audit conclusions and recommendations.
• Assist senior auditors in planning and executing audit fieldwork at client sites.
• Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing as directed.

This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive thorough, professional and timely audit services whilst adhering to the highest standards of audit practice and professional ethics.

What you'll be doing

Performing detailed audit procedures on client financial statements and supporting documentation

Assisting with the preparation of audit working papers and ensuring they are accurate, complete and properly referenced

Conducting audit testing on various account balances, transactions and internal controls to identify potential issues or irregularities

Gathering and documenting evidence to support audit conclusions and recommendations

Assisting senior auditors in the planning and execution of audit fieldwork at client locations

Performing analytical procedures and substantive testing as directed by senior team members

What we're looking for

Currently pursuance Degree in accountancy or A professional accounting qualification such as CA Malaysia, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification recognised in Malaysia

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit software; experience with audit technology is desirable

Professional integrity, discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
