You will assist with detailed audit procedures, working papers, testing, and evidence gathering at client locations, under supervision. This role emphasizes ethics, confidentiality, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or a professional accounting qualification such as CA Malaysia, ACCA, CPA or equivalent recognised in Malaysia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit software; experience with audit technology is desirable.
• Professional integrity, discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audit procedures on client financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of audit working papers and ensure they are accurate, complete and properly referenced.
• Conduct audit testing on various account balances, transactions and internal controls to identify potential issues or irregularities.
• Gather and document evidence to support audit conclusions and recommendations.
• Assist senior auditors in planning and executing audit fieldwork at client locations.
• Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing as directed by senior team members.
