Halliburton Energy Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Machinist to set up and operate a range of machine tools, read blueprints, and participate in inspection procedures at our Senai manufacturing center in Johor.

The role offers an experienced hire environment with close supervision, with opportunities to grow within a global energy services company.

Competenze

• 1–2 years related machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform inspection procedures.

Mansioni

• Set up, adjust and operate machine tools including NC/CN lathes, mills and drills.
• Read blueprints and perform shop mathematics related to machining.
• Carry out inspection procedures to verify work.

Job Duties

• Working under close supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills, computerized numerical control/numerical control and/or manual machines
• May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work
• Skills typically acquired through 1-2 years related machining experience
