Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools.
• Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, interpretation of drawings/schematics, use of precision measurements, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with down-hole equipment.
• Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a technical school certificate or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

“Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including "R&M Mechanical Tech II", or "R&M Mechanical Tech III".
