Kyndryl is seeking an Associate Director, Customer Technology Advisor – AI Expert in Malaysia. You will guide enterprise clients through AI, data and digital transformations, shaping strategies and directing solution design and implementation planning.

Lead executive workshops, translate business priorities into roadmaps, and provide technical leadership across AI, data & analytics, and cloud domains to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/CDO and senior stakeholders on AI and modernization strategies.

• Shape enterprise AI, data & analytics, and GenAI solutions delivering measurable outcomes.
• Advise on modern data architectures, governance, and responsible AI practices.

As an Associate Director, Customer Technology Advisor – AI Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them translate business challenges into transformative AI, data, and digital solutions.

You will work closely with senior technology and business leaders to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and deliver strategic technology recommendations that drive business outcomes. Leveraging your expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data & Analytics, and Cloud technologies, you will guide customers throughout their transformation journey, from strategy and envisioning through solution design and implementation planning.

This role combines executive stakeholder engagement, consultative selling, technology leadership, and solution architecture, making it ideal for professionals who are passionate about both innovation and customer success.

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and senior business stakeholders, helping define AI, data, and modernization strategies.
• Lead executive workshops and discovery sessions to translate business priorities into actionable transformation roadmaps.
• Shape and design enterprise AI, Data & Analytics, and Generative AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Advise clients on modern data architectures, AI adoption, governance, responsible AI, and emerging technology trends.
• Identify, qualify, and shape strategic AI and digital transformation opportunities across key customer accounts.
• Collaborate with sales, consulting, and delivery teams to develop solution strategies, proposals, and transformation pursuits.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
• Mentor and collaborate with architects, consultants, and technology specialists to drive innovation and customer success.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in AI, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Digital Transformation, or Technology Consulting environments.
• Demonstrated success engaging with executive stakeholders and influencing strategic technology decisions.
• Experience designing and positioning enterprise technology solutions within complex customer environments.
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following domains:
• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
• Generative AI
• Data & Analytics Platforms
• Data Modernization
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience supporting business development, technology advisory engagements, or consulting-led transformation initiatives.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working within industries such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Public Sector, Retail, or Healthcare.
• Knowledge of modern AI ecosystems and frameworks including Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Professional certifications in Cloud, AI, Architecture, IT Service Management, or related disciplines.
