Job summary

Stone Forest Malaysia Sdn Bhd is a professional business services firm offering BPO and advisory services to clients in Singapore with a local presence in Malaysia. The role focuses on strengthening internal controls and managing business risks through data-driven insights.

The candidate will assess controls, propose improvements, participate in risk discussions, and support regulatory and compliance reviews, leveraging Power BI, Python, and MS Office to drive efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent; Degrees in other disciplines such as Computer Science, Business and Law, will also be considered.
• Willing to work towards a CA, CIA, CRMA, CISA.
• Able to travel regionally.
• Technically competent, technology savvy, energetic and growth minded.
• Good interpersonal communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Candidate experience in internal/external audit/compliance are welcome.
• Competent and experience in using Power BI, Phython, other programming tools are added advantage.
• Versatile, motivated, team player and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with prior experience in the financial services industry, such as banking, insurance, investment, or other financial institutions, will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of internal controls, identifies areas of improvement in business processes to better manage business risks
• Propose recommendations to improve organisational workflow and to better manage costs and improve profits
• Participate in profit improvement projects with a view to enhancing operating efficiency and improving financial resilience
• Participate in risk advisory engagements and in facilitation of risk discussions to identify risks and mitigation actions
• Conduct data analytics by using applicable tools and techniques to identify areas of slippage or leakag
• Participate in regulatory and compliance reviews to improve governance practices and provide advisory on regulatory frameworks
