Rentokil Initial in Shah Alam is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to ensure technicians have what they need, when they need it, to keep customers safe. You will oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch, optimize layout, and lead a high-performing team.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams, maintain accurate records for audits, and use data-driven insights to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics or related field required.
• 4–5 years of warehouse management experience.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with proactive problem solving.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with KPI awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Achieve zero stock variance; enforce FIFO/LIFO; manage NCR process for quality control.
• Optimize space layout, forecast demand, and initiate stock orders to prevent stockouts/overstocking.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill the warehouse team with emphasis on safety and teamwork.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and use data-driven insights to reduce waste.

As our Assistant Warehouse Manager, you aren't just "moving boxes." You are the backbone of our service operations. You will ensure our technicians have exactly what they need, when they need it, to keep our customers safe. From layout optimization to leading a high-performing team, you will own the efficiency of our warehouse.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee all receipt, storage, and dispatch activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with Rentokil’s global standards.
• Inventory Integrity: Achieve zero stock variance. Implement strict FIFO/LIFO principles and manage the "Non-Conformance Report" (NCR) process to maintain quality control.
• Strategic Planning: Optimize space layout to maximize capacity, manage demand forecasting, and initiate stock ordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and upskill the warehouse team. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of teamwork, safety (SHE), and accountability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key bridge between Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams to coordinate order fulfilment and resolve supply issues.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records for audits and utilize data-driven insights to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 4–5 years of proven track record in warehouse management.
• Mindset: Analytical, data-driven, and proactive in solving "shortage" issues before they affect operations.
• Leadership: A strong coach who can manage daily activities while maintaining a high-level view of KPIs.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer systems (WMS/ERP) and inventory software.

Highly Desirable:
