Job summary

Marsh in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead the Mercer Marsh Benefits client servicing team. The role focuses on managing client relationships, driving business development and ensuring service excellence in a hybrid office model.

You will oversee account delivery, guide risk analyses, and collaborate with teams to craft innovative client solutions in the insurance space.

Qualifications

• A degree holder from any field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management within the Insurance industry.
• Sound knowledge in Employee Benefits.
• Outgoing and independent in nature.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients.
• Recognizes and documents revenue generation, growth and other opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing portfolio and other sources.
• Reviews risk analyses from junior Brokers and develops and presents innovative solutions and approaches for client needs.
• Advises clients on moderately complex risks and negotiates transactions.
• Collaborates with small to medium teams of experienced professionals to service moderately complex accounts.
• Actively Participate in Business Development initiatives organized by the team.
• Trains new employees and monitors workflow to ensure the group runs smoothly.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients.
• Keep abreast of all new technical and product developments to better advise professional colleagues and clients.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits team, part of our Risk business at Marsh.This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur. This has a hybrid working arrangement that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a client services Manager, you will be part of a high-performing team focused on helping clients manage some of the world’s most challenging and complex risks. You will workclosely with our insurance operations team to provide expert analysis and solutions that ensure operational reliability for our clients

We will count on you to:

• Oversee all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients
• Recognizes and documents revenue generation, growth and other opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing portfolio and other sources.
