Private Advertiser based in Sri Petaling, KL, is seeking a Traffic Light Technician responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control devices at intersections and roadways, ensuring safe operation.
The role involves installing controllers, wiring and sensors, performing routine maintenance, programming timing sequences to optimize flow, documenting activities, and upholding safety regulations.
Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic control devices such as traffic lights, pedestrian signals, and related electrical systems. Their primary job scope involves ensuring that traffic signals operate effectively and safely to regulate traffic flow at intersections and other roadways.
Traffic light technicians are involved in the installation of new traffic control devices. This includes mounting traffic lights, pedestrian signals, and associated equipment such as controllers, wiring, and sensors.
Technicians perform routine maintenance on traffic signals to ensure they are functioning correctly. This involves inspecting and cleaning lenses, replacing bulbs, checking electrical connections, and conducting tests to identify and resolve issues. They also troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or damaged equipment.
Traffic light technicians work with electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring and control panels. They may test electrical components, diagnose electrical faults, and repair or replace faulty components to ensure the proper functioning of the traffic control devices.

Applicant must have their own MOTORBIKE, a valid driver's license, and be able to drive.
