Job summary

onsemi in Malaysia is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to work in the Post Fab cleanroom area. You will help convert wafer batches into IC carriers, with final testing in the probe area, contributing to devices used in smartphones, tablets, medical devices, and more.

The role requires working in a cleanroom, performing chemical tasks, and supporting PM schedules across shifts, with a focus on safety and quality. Training on 5S practices and teamwork is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid electrical / electronic / mechatronic certificate.
• Experience in cleanroom environment preferred.
• Willing to work in shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing cleanroom attire.
• Perform chemical tasks at the chemical station and schedule PMs.
• Support shift technicians to ensure PM tasks are completed.
• Prepare PM parts in advance and manage part cleaning/standby.
• Maintain 5S in the area; ensure on-time task completion.
• Handle part shipment, receiving and packing.

Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to work in the Post Fab area of our cleanroom. As an Operator, you would be at the front lines of the exciting process that converts batches of blank silicon wafers into carriers for complete integrated circuits. In our probe area, these integrated circuits are tested. Then, the final products are found in popular high-tech devices, like smartphones, tablets, and even medical devices and self-driving cars!

• Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing cleanroom attire.
• Willing to work in Normal hour & Shift if require . As current need was work in shift.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Perform all Chemical related task such as top up/ change/ withdraw/ troubleshooting on the chemical station issue including schedule PM task perform .
• Willing to support shift technician to ensure all the PM task complete within their shift
• Prepare all the PM part in advance including recycle part cleaning/ standby .
• Proactive involve in major down with Normal hour .
• Time management as work in shift we need to enroll with shift pass down on time , complete task on time and etc
• Perform and sustain 5S in area.
• Part shipment, receiving and pack.
