Job summary

Promatrix DC Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a commissioning specialist to lead the end-to-end testing, on-site and vendor coordination for complex projects in Malaysia. You will plan, execute and oversee site selection, workshops, and turnover, ensuring adherence to safety, QA/QC, and engineering standards.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, review designs for feasibility, develop test scripts, and drive timely completion while reporting progress and KPI metrics.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Built Plans (M&E)
• Equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Effective communication to report progress and KPI metrics
• Ability to work with Engineering Team and understand design
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites

Responsibilities

• Manage commissioning from site selection through vendor onboarding and turnover
• Plan, coordinate and manage all testing and documentation for the project
• Develop commissioning procedures and standards; conduct regular site inspections for safety, QA/QC, and commissioning
• Ensure quality delivery from project installation and coordinate handover to client and internal service
• Review project design and ensure operation feasibility
• Verify and evaluate equipment and system quality per specification before delivery
• Coordinate testing plans and develop test plans and test scripts
• Involve in project early stage to understand requirements
• Plan, perform and lead the whole T&C process with T&C members, ensuring smooth execution and on-time completion
• Ensure work compliance to standards in accordance with engineering practices

Job description

Manage the commissioning process from site selection through vendor onboarding, commissioning workshops, technical due diligence design review, commissioning strategy and plan development, factory and site acceptance testing, technical issues resolution, and commissioning closeout and turnover

Plan, coordinate and manage all testing and documentation for the project

Develop commissioning procedures and standards and conduct regular construction site inspections to review safety, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning processes

Ensure quality delivery from project installation and coordinate handover to client and internal service department

Review project design and ensure operation feasibility

Verify and evaluate equipment and system quality and performance according to specification and requirements before delivery to client

Coordinate all testing plans and procedures and develop and review test plans and test scripts

Involve in project early stage to understand construction and testing and commissioning requirements

Plan, perform and lead the whole T&C process with T&C members, ensuring smooth execution and on-time completion

Ensure work compliance to standards in accordance with engineering practices

About you

Understanding of Built Plans (M&E), Technical Literature and Equipment Manuals

Equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ability to review and propose solutions

Effective communication skills with ability to report regularly on construction progress, QA/QC, commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics

Ability to work closely with Engineering Team and understand design

Willingness to work on-site or off-site depending on project need and ability to travel frequently to project sites
