The RuMa Hotel in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant SPA Manager to lead the luxury spa team and ensure exceptional service delivery. You will oversee daily spa operations, staff scheduling, facilities maintenance, and adherence to health and safety standards to support a premium guest experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a luxury hotel spa or wellness environment.
• Knowledge of spa operations, wellness treatments, guest service standards, and retail sales.
• Experience in managing daily spa operations, therapist scheduling, inventory control, and revenue targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Knowledge of health, hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards for spa operations.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate spa associates to achieve service excellence.
• Familiarity with spa booking/POS systems is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.

About the role
We are seeking an Assistant SPA Manager to join THE RUMA HOTEL KL's wellness team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full‑time position offering an exciting opportunity to support the management and operations of our luxury spa facility. As Assistant SPA Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining operational excellence, and contributing to the strategic development of our spa services. What we're looking for
