Job summary

Westlite Dormitory Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support occupancy targets and drive sales for our dormitory portfolio in Malaysia. You will assist in marketing strategy, handle inquiries from prospective customers, and manage sales administration and credit control to ensure timely billings and collections.

You will also oversee day-to-day operations in the absence of the Sales Manager and lead the sales team to meet goals while ensuring process compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Business Management/ Sales or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Manager in achieving occupancy levels of dormitory.
• Assist to develop marketing strategy for existing and new dormitories.
• Attending to enquiries from prospective customers.
• Manage the sales administration & credit control function to achieve timely billings and collection.
• Overseeing day to day operations and sales team in the absence of Sales Manager.
• Lead and ensuring sales team hit their sales goals.
• Ensure sales flow compliance with administrative and procedure guideline and deadlines.
• Responsible to liaise with auditors, solicitors, government authority and other related parties to ensure proper documentation.
• To process, check or revise the documents relating to Sales & Purchase, Tenancies, Letter Offer etc.
• To draft letters / replies for incoming correspondence from purchasers / lawyers and other related parties.
• To submit ad-hoc reports as and when required.
• Follow up on all outgoing quotations and confirm prospective customers who are keen to take up bed spaces.
• Involves in selecting, orienting and training of new salespersons.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
