Job summary

Hajris F&B in Kota Masai is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help run daily operations, lead the team, and uphold service excellence.

You will monitor quality, safety, and costs, coach staff, manage shifts, and report performance to the Restaurant Manager, ensuring targets are met in a busy F&B environment. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM; Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, Business Management, or related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the F&B industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Supervise and guide restaurant staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Monitor food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation.
• Assist in managing staff schedules, attendance, and manpower requirements.
• Support staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory, and food wastage.
• Ensure proper cash handling and outlet procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in monitoring daily sales and outlet performance.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales and operational targets.
• Assist in coordinating with suppliers and other departments when required.
• Ensure equipment and restaurant facilities are properly maintained.
• Prepare daily operational reports and submit them to the Restaurant Manager.
• Take charge of the outlet in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management.
