Job summary

One Belian Seed PLT in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor assistant to support pricing, forecasting and BOQ estimation for projects. You will study tender specifications, liaise with site managers and engineers, and help prepare initial quotes for tender teams.

You will assist in coordinating with design teams, monitor costs, track design changes, and negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor in pricing, forecasting and BOQ estimation for project costs.
• Study tender specifications and prepare initial quotes for tender/contract teams.
• Liaise with customer, site managers, project managers and site engineers as needed.
• Coordinate with design team to analyse drawings and architectural/construction details.
• Monitor and control costs, track changes in design/work, and adjust budgets accordingly.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain best prices and terms.
• Prepare contracts, tender documents, invoices and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and financial transactions.
