Job summary

Excel Rim Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to assist in calibration activities, laboratory verification, and quality documentation in support of the Quality Management System. The role involves coordinating internal and external calibration, maintaining records, and contributing to investigations and improvements.

The ideal candidate has at least SPM or equivalent with 1–2 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and a hands-on, detail-oriented mindset.

Job General
To assist the QA Engineer in calibration, laboratory activities and quality documentation to support the Quality Management System.

Duties and responsibilities

Assist QA Engineer in internal and external equipment calibration.

Perform internal calibration and equipment verification.

Coordinate external calibration with suppliers and Purchasing.

Maintain calibration records and quality documents.

Support Material Analyzer (Spectrometer) verification and quality machine maintenance.

Prepare quality reports and related documentation.

Support quality testing and laboratory verification.

Assist in quality investigations and improvement activities.

Perform any other duties assigned by superior / management.

Skills / Qualification / Requirements

Candidate must possess at least SPM or equivalent.

1–2 years' working experience in related field is an advantage.

Experience in equipment calibration, laboratory work or quality assurance is an added advantage.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good team player, hands-on, willing to learn, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Computer literate with good Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Able to work under pressure and solve problems.

Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret information.
