Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings; AutoCAD advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Time management and organisational skills.
• Sound judgement and ability to make sound decisions daily.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel, work on-site and attend site visits as required.
• Willing to respond to work-related matters outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and government departments.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, quality standards and regulations.
• Prepare, review and assist in submission of tender documents.
• Assist with cost estimation, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and report progress, issues and delays.
• Identify and resolve technical, site and regulatory issues.
• Maintain project documentation including progress reports and tender records.
• Attend site and project meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
