Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in new project and engineering change development.
• Assist Project Engineer in engineering change projects as assigned by Project Engineering Manager.
• Assist Project Engineer in preparing critical dimension points from part drawing and recording in the critical dimension and appearance list.
• Assist Project Engineer in buying off 1st shot sample during trial run.
• Assist Project Engineer in preparing all new project PPAP documents and ensuring samples are submitted to customer on time.
• Coordinate with tooling personnel on items to be repaired or modified.
• Assist Project Engineer in monitoring trial samples and trial documents submission schedule to Customer.
• Assist Project Engineer in coordinating FMEA & APQP meetings with APQP team members.
• Assist Project Engineer in coordinating validation process.

Authorities

• Hold authority to reject any trial sample that does not fulfill customer requirements.
