Job summary

PAK GEMBUS Restoran in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily restaurant activities, manage the team, and ensure high standards of service and food quality.

You will drive sales initiatives, train staff, monitor stock, and handle customer issues while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with at least 2 years of experience in a management position in the F&B industry.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to guide a team.
• Willing to work overtime and on public holidays when required.
• Willing to attend training in Kuala Lumpur.
• Fluent in speaking and writing Malay and English.
• Proficient in computer use.
• Own vehicle and willing to travel for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Report operational issues to the Area Manager and ensure operations, product preparation and customer service remain consistent
• Ensure the restaurant is always ready to operate with sufficient stock
• Provide fast, friendly and professional customer service while maintaining food and beverage quality standards
• Train the team on menu knowledge, food presentation and ensure sufficient workforce for smooth operations
• Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally and effectively
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, guide the team and ensure the restaurant environment is always clean, comfortable and customer-friendly
• Monitor staff attendance, conduct staff training and ensure compliance with company policies
• Analyse sales data, identify opportunities to increase sales and achieve set targets
• Prepare and submit daily reports on staff, sales, inventory and any operational issues
• Execute daily End-of-Day closure procedures and other tasks directed by management
