Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations/Production Manager to lead end-to-end production operations in Malaysia. You will develop and implement production schedules, manage resources to meet customer deadlines, and oversee inventory and procurement to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with machining processes and CNC tooling, and a track record in lean manufacturing and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations or production management.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC equipment, and tooling.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present regular operational performance reports to Senior Management.
