Job summary

Transmedic Healthcare Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee warehouse, logistics and daily operations, ensuring efficiency and SOP compliance. You will lead and train the operations team, manage inventory accuracy and consignment, and coordinate with the sales team for asset requests.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar capacity and a relevant degree. You will optimize resources, ensure safety standards, and continuously improve overall operations performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control is essential.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee overall operation, warehouse and logistics to ensure daily operations run smoothly and in compliance with SOPs.
• Lead, supervise, coach and train the operations team to meet competency requirements.
• Manage inventory control, accuracy and consignment levels.
• Coordinate with sales to fulfill asset and inventory requests.
• Optimize resources, including manpower, consumables, equipment and storage space.
• Solve problems and drive overall performance of the operations team.
• Monitor inventory levels and costs with sales to meet market demand.
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met.
• Foster professionalism among team members.
• Periodically review SOPs and update as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the overall operation, warehouse, logistic and ensuring the daily operations are carried out smoothly, efficiently and in compliance to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures & guidelines from the regulatory bodies.
• Lead, supervise, coach and train the operation team personnel ensuring all are able to meet the competency requirement when carrying out their responsibilities.
• Inventory control, including inventory accuracy, healthy inventory level and permanent consignment.
• To meet the sales team’s request (assets & inventory).
• Optimize the utilization of available resources such as manpower, medical consumables & equipment, facilities and storage area to meet market demand.
• Problem solving and work towards elevating the overall performance of the whole operation team function
• Discussing & monitoring with sales manager for inventory level & costing to meet the market demand
• Ensure workplace’s health and safety requirements are met.
• Cultivate a culture of professionalism among team members.
• Periodical review the SOP.
• To perform any other function and tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 3 years of working experience in similar capacity is required for this position.
• Knowledge in warehouse operations and inventory control is essential.
• Excellent leadership, organization, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
