Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager (Category Management) to own category scorecards, identify opportunities for growth, and review SKU roles, product lifecycle, and portfolio gaps.

Own category scorecards and identify opportunities for growth, recovery, and profitability improvement.
Review SKU roles, product lifecycle, brand and model coverage, portfolio rationalization, and portfolio gaps.
Develop pricing recommendations based on competitor intelligence, market positioning, profitability, inventory, and demand.
Lead the Group-level new product pipeline by identifying opportunities, coordinating evaluation and validation, and managing products through launch readiness and post-launch review.
Conduct market and competitor analysis and customer visits where required to gather relevant market and customer insights.
Lead or support category campaigns with clear commercial outcomes and conduct post-campaign reviews to identify learnings.
Utilize Power BI, Volza, D365, SQL, and advanced Excel to generate reliable analysis and provide data-driven recommendations.
Guide executives through appropriate leadership approaches, set expectations, review outputs, provide feedback, and strengthen ownership.
Coordinate cross-functional owners and timelines, remove barriers, and elevate material risks or issues in a timely manner.
Continuously improve category processes, reporting, governance, and decision-making quality.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
2–3 years of relevant experience in product/category management, commercial analytics, marketing, pricing, sales planning, or related functions.
Experience in portfolio/product analysis and commercial decision‑making support.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Power BI and ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior team members and take ownership beyond assigned tasks.
