Assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring daily workshop activities.
Ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance jobs.
Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and labor utilization.
Ensure adherence to repair procedures, manufacturer standards, and company SOPs.
Coordinate job allocation among technicians to maximize workshop performance.
Team Management
- Supervise and support technicians, team leaders, and workshop staff.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Identify training and development needs for workshop personnel.
- Conduct coaching and provide technical guidance when required.
Quality Control
- Ensure repairs are carried out correctly and meet quality standards.
- Monitor final vehicle inspections before delivery to customers.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and repeat repair cases.
- Ensure compliance with warranty and manufacturer requirements.
Customer Satisfaction
- Support service advisors in handling customer concerns and technical explanations.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered within promised timelines.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints related to workshop services.
- Promote excellent customer service and customer retention.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment usage.
- Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Monitor workshop tools, equipment, and special service tools.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of workshop equipment.
- Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure parts availability for repair jobs.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and analyze workshop performance reports and KPIs.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, labor sales, and workshop revenue.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control initiatives.
- Support management in implementing continuous improvement programs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- Diploma/Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automotive workshop operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnosis, repair, and maintenance.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in workshop management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
