Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee technicians and ensure timely, quality repairs. You will diagnose vehicle issues, guide repairs, and liaise with service advisors to manage customer expectations.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, maintaining tool inventories, training staff, and ensuring adherence to SOPs, ISO, and safety standards while keeping a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• SPM & SKM in Automotive Technology or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 5 years’ hands-on automotive repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge in minor and major repair and first-time-fix practices.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all staff under his charge and be responsible for their work.
• Analyze and diagnose repair work; inform service advisor on required repairs.
• Advise job controller on problematic repair work after receiving customer information.
• Supervise repairs and assist technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Inform service advisor of delays in repairs and additional repairs/defects.
• Ensure warranty parts are tagged and disposed per SOP and comply with safety/quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of tools, shop supplies, and equipment; ensure schedules for service facilities.
• Train technicians and monitor on-the-job training programs.
