Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, invites a QA Automation Lead to shape automated testing for enterprise applications, ensuring reliability, performance and quality across SAP and PowerApps. You will design, develop and run tests and help drive intelligent automation initiatives.

You will mentor junior QA, define test strategies with analysts and developers, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced environment at AIA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–6 years of software testing experience with at least 3 years in test automation.
• Experience with at least one reputable test automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Tosca, UFT).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Strong QA methodologies, testing life cycle and defect management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and execution of automated test scripts for functional, regression and performance testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure coverage.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.

About the Role

To lead and execute automated testing initiatives that ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive resolution with development teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members on automation best practices.
• Support manual testing efforts when necessary, particularly during UAT and release cycles.
• Ensure robust testing coverage for supported applications such as SAP and PowerApps solutions.
• Introduce innovative testing approaches leveraging AI, intelligent automation, and emerging quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation.
• Proven experience with at least one reputable test automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, UFT, TestComplete, Katalon Studio).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or VBScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and defect management.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
