Job summary

CARiNG Pharmacy is seeking a results-oriented HR professional to support succession planning, training management, and employee engagement initiatives in Klang. You will oversee budgeting, onboarding, and program rollout while collaborating cross-functionally to boost retention and performance.

The role requires 5–6 years in HR/training with strong communication skills, leadership potential, and willingness to travel or relocate to Klang. A proactive, independent work style is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Training Needs Analysis and Curriculum Development is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel/relocate to Klang.

Responsibilities

• Assist in succession planning and update tracking sheets.
• Track training budget vs actual and align with Finance reports.
• Prepare monthly training and expense reports.
• Coordinate implementation of training calendar and programs.
• Support system automation rollout including UAT and data validation.
• Maintain competency library and grades/level profiles.
• Handle IDP submissions and progress updates tracking.
• Organize and execute employee engagement activities.
• Analyze Employee Engagement Survey and provide insights.
• Conduct exit interviews and compile analyses.

Job description

Assist in succession planning process, including collecting talent nominations from HODs and updating succession tracking sheet

Track and reconcile training budget vs actual expenses, and align with Finance reports

Prepare monthly training and expense reports

Coordinate implementation of training calendar and programs

Support system automation rollout (training request automation & competency library) including UAT, data validation and user training

Maintain and update competency library and grades/level profiles

Support implementation of IDP by collecting IDP submissions from departments, tracking completion and follow-ups, and progress updates tracking

Organise and execute employee engagement activities and events

Monitor training completion and engagement participation rates

Analyse Employee Engagement Survey and provide insights & reporting

Coordinate and conduct exit interviews, and compile analysis reports

Support development of retention action plans based on exit data

Manage new joiner orientation, including coordination of welcome sessions and HR briefings, scheduling onboarding activities with departments and collecting onboarding feedback from new hires

Manage petty cash reimbursement for TD&C.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field

Minimum at least have 5- 6 years' experience in related field

Have experience in Training Needs Analysis, Curriculum Development, Content Design and Development & Training Programme Design is added advantage

Have experience in Leveraging Talent, Emotional Intelligence, Business Acumen, Driving Change & Performance.

Having experience in Engagement survey analysis is desirable.

Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Able to do presentations to a variety of audiences.

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in talent engagement and training.

Resourceful and able to work independently, possess strong desire to succeed.

Must be a team player, highly motivated and committed with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Self-integrity and having company interest as the priority.

Strong leadership, creativity, and communication skills are essential.

Willing to travel/relocate to Bandar Bukit Raja 2 Klang.

CARiNG Pharmacy was established in 1994 by 5 pharmacists, who were course-mates in the School of Pharmacy, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

The first CARiNG Outlet opened in Taman Muda, Cheras. At that time, the awareness of community pharmacy services was still low. The founders took these important steps to instill the value of pharmacists in the healthcare profession by:

Providing 12 hours a day, 7 days a week full time pharmacist service.

Providing easily accessible pharmacist counseling service, free blood pressure checks and other health checks at a minimum fee.

Designing the store with a modern, open concept to maximise interaction with customers and merchandise. With this successful concept, CARiNG Pharmacy is growing fast within the Peninsular Malaysia.
