CACEIS Malaysia, based at IOI City, Putrajaya, is seeking an Assistant Manager for Static Data within Master Data Services. You will manage static data in MDC and GP, ensure data accuracy, and coordinate market data validation with providers like Bloomberg.
Reporting to the Static Data Manager, you will handle corporate actions and inquiries, support global servicing, and contribute to process improvements while encouraging team development and cross-training.

Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of all static data in MDC and GP. Setups would include creation and/or amendment of static data in all the processing systems.
You will be supporting Global business with 8 working hours a day.
Shift hours would be between 8:00am-5:00pm Malaysia time.
What will you do?
Ensure completion and maintenance of Financial Instruments in internal system
Control and validate market data coming from data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)
Analyze and execute the corporate action event (dividend, spin off, shares split, etc.)
Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and with high-quality standard
Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (including shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required)
Promote quality of deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members
Ensure cross training and rotation of duties occurs on a regular basis to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk
Periodic review of process to refresh understanding of requirements and review for compliance
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Familiar with core platforms: MDC and all the GP
Knowledge in Bloomberg or other service providers will be an added advantage.
Competent in MS office.
Banking experience in operations with basic static data knowledge.
Nice-to-have
Possess strong leadership and coaching skills.
