Job summary

CACEIS Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Static Data to maintain and update static data in MDC and GP, reporting to the Manager, Static Data. You will manage data setups across processing systems and support global business with 8 working hours per day.

Shift hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Malaysia time, with potential duties on bank holidays and weekends as required to ensure data accuracy and compliance across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion and maintenance of Financial Instruments in internal system
• Control and validate market data coming from data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)
• Analyze and execute the corporate action event (dividend, spin off, shares split, etc.)
• Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and with high quality standard
• Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (includes shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required)
• Promote quality of deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members
• Ensure cross training and rotation of duties occurs on a regular basis to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Periodic review of process to refresh understanding of requirements and review for compliance

Assistant Manager, Static Data - Master Data Services M/F

CACEIS Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centres of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of all static data in MDC and GP. Setups would include creation and/or amendment of static data in all the processing systems.

You will be supporting Global business with 8 working hours a day.

Shift hours would be between 8:0am-5:00pm Malaysia time.
