Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Field Sales Leader to drive execution in Central Modern Trade and oversee a team of Sales Executives, Representatives and Merchandisers. You will translate plans into daily on-ground activities, monitor performance and coordinate with the Key Account team to ensure brand visibility and pricing accuracy.

You will supervise monthly strategies, analyze outlet performance, and coach staff to achieve sales, merchandising and distribution

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Field Sales/Sales Operations in FMCG.
• Experience in Central Modern Trade is a plus.
• Strong understanding of FMCG sales execution, merchandising, distribution and promotions.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently for market visits.

The role is responsible for driving sales execution across Central Modern Trade channels by translating commercial plans into effective on-ground activities. The incumbent will lead the field sales and merchandising team, monitor sales and outlet execution, ensure promotional and brand activities are implemented effectively.

Develop, guide and motivate a team of Sales Executives, Sales Representatives and Merchandisers to achieve excellence in selling, merchandising and execution standards in the field.

Effectively supervise the implementation the monthly sales strategies, Key Account plans, trade bulletins and brand activities into effective on-ground execution plans.

Work closely with the Key Account team to ensure alignment between commercial plans and field execution, providing market feedback and highlighting operational challenges.

Monitor daily and monthly sales performance, distribution, stock availability, promotional execution and merchandising standards, identifying gaps and taking corrective actions where required.

Conduct regular market and outlet visits to ensure agreed sales, promotional, pricing, visibility and merchandising standards are properly executed.

To work closely with Tiong Nam Shah Alam & Melaka Logistic to monitor stock availability, order fulfilment and monthly stock requirements.

Analyse outlet-level sales and execution performance and provide recommendations to improve sales productivity, distribution and merchandising effectiveness.

Conduct regular competitor and market checks to identify changes in pricing, promotions, product visibility, distribution and market activities.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.

Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in Field Sales / Sales Operations within the FMCG industry.

Experience in Central Modern Trade / Modern Trade will be an added advantage.

Strong understanding of FMCG sales execution, merchandising, distribution and promotional activities.

Good understanding of sales performance tracking, outlet execution and inventory/stock management.

Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.

Strong communication and coordination skills, particularly in working with cross-functional teams.

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to fast-changing market and operational requirements.

Willingness to travel frequently for market and outlet visits.
