Job summary

Mamee in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a driven sales professional to manage key accounts in the modern trade and general trade channels. You will translate brand strategies into concrete sales actions, optimize retail presence and drive market share.

You will collaborate with Marketing to develop trade promotions, manage POSMs, and deliver timely sales reports and forecasts. The role demands independent work style, strong communication and a track record in FMCG key account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant study.
• At least 3 years of key account management experience in FMCG.
• Experience with developing POSMs and in-store touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Manage and develop channels (modern trade / general trade) to achieve sales target, merchandising and market share objectives.
• Develop trade strategies and promotion plans to drive channel (modern trade / general trade) growth in terms of market share, visibility and increase range selling.
• Work with Marketing team to translate marketing strategy into actionable sales plan to achieve targets.
• Develop merchandising and POSM materials, in coordination with Marketing team, to support excellence in retail presence and best in class visibility.
• Optimize brand investment opportunities through return-on-investment analysis and successful management of trade marketing budget.
• Work closely with Marketing team to develop effective trade promotions and cascade the promotions with clear communication to the specific channel.
• Prepare sales reports and report projected sales forecast. Track and highlight unusual increase / decrease in customer demand.
• To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant study.
• At least 3 years of key account management experience (modern trade / general trade) in FMCG industry.
• Demonstrable experience with developing POSMs and in-store touchpoints.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages would be added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to act highly independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment, good team player, self-motivated, proactive and result oriented.
