Job summary

JD Sports SEA is seeking a seasoned Rewards and Compensation professional to lead regional payroll and benefits across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. You will drive end-to-end HR operations and ensure payroll accuracy while coordinating with line managers.

The role requires strong project management, regional exposure, and the ability to handle sensitive information, with a focus on governance, audits, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Analytics or related HR functions with regional SEA exposure.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight timelines.
• Practical in-depth knowledge of HR administrative procedures for Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for all permanent and part-time employees in Singapore and Thailand, ensuring all applicable payroll components are accurately captured and processed.
• Oversee end to end HR operational which includes but not limited to ensuring proper payroll audit standard, expats visa application/renewal, Long Service Award Programme, Experience and sound HR advisory within department.
• Work closely with Line Manager in supporting People’s Strategic Modernization & Transformation Projects (ad-hoc) on Rewards and Operations related.
• Registering, managing application & renewing all related software licenses, Work Permits, Visa, Group Insurance, and related government agencies.
• Manage and review employee benefits programmes, including market benchmarking, renewals, vendor management and cost effectiveness.
• Manage and support regional compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring consistency, competitiveness and alignment across SEA markets.
• Monitor market trends, employment legislation and statutory requirements impacting compensation and benefits across SEA, ensuring compliance and appropriate governance.
• Lead Rewards team to ensure accurate and timely execution of entire processes across countries – Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand.
• Support regional projects, including payroll/leave/time system enhancements, process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by line Manager.
