RHB Investment Bank in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager, OTC Derivatives Sales to join the Equity and Corporate Derivatives team. You will support growth by assisting client coverage, sales activities, and relationship management across retail, corporate, and institutional segments.

Work with Relationship Managers, Corporate Banking, Client Coverage, Trading, and Origination to deliver derivative and structured solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in EQD sales / treasury / capital markets / investment banking.
• Basic understanding of capital markets, equities, structured products, warrants, or OTC derivatives.
• Strong interest in financial markets and client-facing roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of sales initiatives aligned with EQD objectives.
• Promote OTC derivatives, structured products, warrants, and equity-linked solutions.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, OTC Derivatives Sales to join our Equity and Corporate Derivatives (EQD) team at RHB Investment Bank. In this role, you will support the growth of the derivatives business by assisting in client coverage, sales activities, marketing initiatives, and relationship management across retail, corporate, and institutional segments. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Corporate Banking, Client Coverage, Trading, and Origination teams to deliver derivative and structured investment solutions to clients.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the execution of sales initiatives in line with the Equity and Corporate Derivatives business objectives.
• Assist in promoting OTC derivatives, structured products, warrants, and equity-linked solutions to clients and distribution channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, brokers, and business partners to support business growth.
• Support client onboarding activities and coordinate documentation and account setup processes.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers and coverage teams to identify client opportunities and introduce suitable investment or hedging solutions.
• Assist in preparing product presentations, marketing materials, market updates, and sales proposals for client meetings.
• Support marketing and client engagement activities, including seminars, webinars, roadshows, and digital campaigns.
• Monitor market developments and provide timely updates on relevant market trends, investment ideas, and product opportunities.
• Coordinate with Trading and Origination teams to facilitate trade execution and ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Assist in tracking sales activities, client pipelines, revenue performance, and business reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in EQD sales / treasury / capital markets / investment banking / corporate banking, or financial markets
• Basic understanding of capital markets, equities, structured products, warrants, or OTC derivatives
• Strong interest in financial markets, investments, and client-facing roles
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Malaysian capital market products and regulations will be an added advantage
