To support the Management in managing the daily operations of the outdoor playground, ensuring smooth operations, a safe environment, excellent customer service, effective staff supervision, and compliance with company SOPs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Outlet Operations
- Support the daily opening, closing and overall operation of the outlet.
- Ensure playground areas, equipment and facilities are safe and ready for operation.
- Ensure operational SOPs and company policies are consistently followed.
- Coordinate manpower according to visitor traffic and operational needs.
- Take charge of outlet operations when the Branch Manager is unavailable.
Safety & Facility Management
- Conduct regular safety checks on playground equipment and facilities.
- Monitor weather conditions and take appropriate action during rain, thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds or other unsafe conditions.
- Immediately restrict the use of unsafe equipment or areas.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies and ensure incidents are properly reported.
- Monitor cleanliness and coordinate maintenance requirements.
Team Supervision
- Supervise full-time and part-time crew during daily operations.
- Conduct staff briefings and assign duties and stations.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline and performance.
- Coach and guide staff to maintain good operational and customer service standards.
- Assist with staff training, onboarding and performance management.
- Ensure customers receive friendly and professional service.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints.
- Manage customer flow and crowd control during peak periods.
- Monitor cashier operations and ensure transactions are handled accurately.
- Support the team in achieving outlet sales and operational targets.
Administration & Reporting
- Complete required operational checklists and reports.
- Monitor stock and operational supplies.
- Report incidents, equipment issues, cash discrepancies and other operational concerns to management.
- Support events, group visits, parties and promotional activities when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Hospitality, Retail Management or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in family entertainment, attractions, retail, hospitality or other customer-facing operations.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to supervise and motivate a team.
- Customer-focused and able to handle complaints professionally.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor and fast-paced environment.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification is an advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to work 5 days per week on rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
- Comfortable working outdoors and under changing weather conditions.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with operational activities when required.
