Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Assistant Manager, Fit Out located in Johore, Malaysia. The Assistant Manager, Fit Out will oversee and manage fit‑out projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and standards. Responsibilities include coordinating construction activities, managing contractors and vendors, liaising with stakeholders, conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs, and resolving on‑site issues. Additional tasks include preparing regular reports, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting the team in achieving project goals.

Qualifications
  • Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple fit‑out projects effectively.
  • Technical knowledge in construction, design, and fit‑out processes, along with problem‑solving abilities to manage on‑site challenges.
  • Communication and leadership skills to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in project management or a similar role in the construction or fit‑out industry is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work on‑site in a dynamic environment and manage resources effectively.
