Job summary

ACCA Careers in Kuala Lumpur is seeking experienced accountants to manage client portfolios and deliver statutory accounts in line with IFRS/MFRS and MBRS/XBRL requirements.

The role involves providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and technical accounting research, while maintaining high quality, compliance and timely delivery. Leadership duties include mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• Assistant Manager: minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably with audit in a mid-tier firm.
• Manager: minimum 7 years relevant experience, preferably with audit in a mid-tier firm.
• Strong accounting experience including delivering client reporting and reviews.
• Proficiency in Xero, AutoCount and similar platforms.
• Excellent organisational, time management and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage client portfolios and coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and review financial statements and statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS, MFRS, and MBRS/XBRL requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and advisory support including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and technical accounting research.
• Ensure quality, compliance and project management by following risk-control procedures and delivering assignments accurately and on time.
• Lead and develop junior staff through supervision and coaching, while supporting business development activities.
