BDO Malaysia is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager for the Business Services and Outsourcing (Accounting) team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on managing client accounting engagements, delivering high-quality financial reporting, and developing junior staff.

You will handle statutory accounts, MBRS/XBRL work, monthly reporting, and support business decisions while ensuring risk management and quality controls across engagements.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent with professional qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MICPA).
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of clients, liaising with clients and internal teams as required.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and disclosures under IFRS/MFRS; assist in MBRS reporting.
• Oversee XBRL conversions of financial statements per MBRS regime.
• Prepare reliable monthly financial information to support business decisions.
• Lead projects, ensuring timely delivery and raise issues promptly.
