Job summary

MALAYANTECH is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join our AWCS and SAP implementation program across subsidiaries and countries. You will combine financial expertise with regional SAP projects, working with consultants and business users.

You will coordinate SAP implementation activities, monitor progress, conduct SAP/MRP walkthroughs, and support budgeting, audits, and statutory compliance while communicating in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation and/or enhancement projects.
• Experience with MRP is an added advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage SAP implementation activities across subsidiaries.
• Monitor users’ progress and ensure tasks align with blueprints, workshops and training requirements.
• Conduct SAP/MRP walkthroughs and system testing to meet business requirements.
• Review vendor payments, cash flow management, audit reports, tax computations, and assist in maintaining finance-related SOPs.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and internal auditors for the Group of Companies.
• Assist in understanding and addressing local statutory requirements for audit and taxation of foreign subsidiaries.
• Assist in reviewing monthly financial results, budget preparation and performance, and annual statutory compliance matters.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the Company.

• Assist in understanding and addressing local statutory requirements for audit and taxation of foreign subsidiaries in support of business expansion.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP implementation and/or enhancement projects, preferably with full-cycle implementation exposure.
• Experience with MRP is an added advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
