Job summary

KAF Group is seeking a seasoned finance professional to oversee daily finance operations, review journals, and manage vendor payments in Kuala Lumpur. The role entails preparing monthly accounts, bank reconciliations, and tax schedules, as well as annual financial statements and tax computations.

You will support regulatory reporting, respond to auditors’ queries, and help maintain Finance Policies and Procedures. A Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounts department.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with accounting software.

Job Description:

• 1. Monitor day-to-day finance operation tasks, review daily and monthly journals.
• 2. Review payments to vendors.
• 3. Prepare monthly management accounts, bank reconciliation and monthly accounting, audit, and tax schedules.
• 4. Assist in preparing annual financial statements, annual tax computation and filing.
• 5. Assist in providing information to the regulatory reporting team for regulatory reporting submission.
• 6. Liaise and attend to any queries requested by external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• 7. Produce, update, and review Finance Policies and Procedures.

Skills and qualification:

• 1. Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• 2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounts department.
• 3. Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• 4. Proficiency with accounting software and technological advances in the finance field.
• 5. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google sheet.
• 6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• 7. Ability to delegate and manage a team.
