Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced accounting professional to deliver reporting for allocated client portfolios across APAC.

You will prepare Fund/Holdco and SPV reports and statements, including management fee calculations, and assist consolidation work. You will review financial statements prepared by local accountants, coach the KL service centre team, support the fund’s analytics, and liaise with auditors to ensure IFRS compliance for standalone and consolidated

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting professional (ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent) is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Involve in client communication and ensure delivery of reporting for allocated client portfolio across APAC.
• Prepare Fund/HoldCo and SPV reporting and financial statements, including management fee calculations.
• Prepare consolidation accounts as needed.
• Provide bespoke financial analysis reporting (e.g., cashflow reporting).
• Review financial statements and analysis prepared by local accountants.
• Coach KL service centre team and support the fund’s team with financial analysis.
• Prepare annual standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and liaise with auditors.
• Coordinate capital calls/distributions, waterfall and performance fee calculations with tax advisor involvement.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met; support payment processes and intercompany loan documentation.
• Data review of PropCo/HoldCo and liaise with 3rd party service providers; onboarding new clients from accounting perspective.
