Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Assistant Manager for Compliance, Risk & Integrity Management to oversee Enterprise Risk Management, BCM, integrity, anti-bribery and internal audit functions.
The role involves developing frameworks, conducting reviews and advising departments on governance requirements. The position requires leading risk workshops, maintaining risk registers, tracking corrective actions and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal controls
Review business activities, processes and practices to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, applicable laws, regulations and internal governance requirements.
Develop, implement and improve compliance frameworks, policies, procedures and monitoring mechanisms.
Conduct compliance reviews, assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps, control weaknesses and potential risks.
Monitor changes in applicable legislation, regulations, standards and internal requirements.
Recommend amendments to policies, procedures and practices arising from regulatory or compliance changes.
Coordinate and follow up on corrective actions arising from internal audits, Group Internal Audit, external audits, regulatory reviews and other assurance activities.
Maintain compliance registers, monitoring records and supporting documentation.
Prepare compliance reports, findings and management updates.
Advise departments on compliance requirements, internal controls and governance matters.
ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT & CORRUPTION RISK MANAGEMENTImplement and coordinate the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Corruption Risk Management (CRM) frameworks within SATSSB.
Facilitate risk assessment workshops and engagement sessions across departments.
Identify, analyse and evaluate strategic, operational, financial, compliance and corruption-related risks.
Coordinate the development of appropriate risk mitigation and treatment plans.
Review and update departmental and corporate risk registers periodically.
Monitor risk exposures, risk events, internal controls and the progress of risk treatment plans.
Track and follow up on risk information recorded in Q-Radar, including net risk ratings, mitigation actions and control effectiveness.
Analyse organisational risk information and emerging risk trends.
Prepare and present risk reports, dashboards and management updates.
Research and communicate emerging risks that may affect SATSSB’s operations, strategic objectives and business sustainability.
Promote risk awareness, accountability and risk ownership throughout the organisation.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENTDevelop, implement and maintain SATSSB’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.
Prepare, review and update Business Continuity Plans, Business Recovery Plans and related procedures.
Coordinate Business Impact Analysis and continuity risk assessments.
Identify critical business functions, operational dependencies, recovery priorities and continuity requirements.
Develop and recommend appropriate business continuity and recovery strategies.
Plan and coordinate BCM exercises, simulations and testing activities.
Evaluate organisational preparedness and the effectiveness of business continuity arrangements.
Monitor and follow up on corrective and improvement actions arising from BCM exercises or actual disruptions.
Maintain BCM records and ensure continuity plans remain current and operationally relevant.
INTEGRITY, ANTI-BRIBERY & ANTI-CORRUPTIONDevelop, implement and monitor integrity, anti-bribery and anti-corruption initiatives.
Coordinate corruption risk assessments across relevant departments.
Review and assess existing integrity policies, procedures, processes and internal controls.
Recommend improvements to strengthen integrity and anti-corruption governance.
Develop and conduct integrity, anti-bribery and anti-corruption awareness programmes.
Coordinate activities relating to the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS).
Promote ethical conduct, transparency, accountability and integrity across the organisation.
Maintain and monitor integrity, ABAC and corruption-risk records and documentation.
INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & INTERNAL AUDITImplement, maintain and improve SATSSB’s Integrated Management System, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and other applicable standards.
Participate as a member of the Internal Audit Team.
Plan, schedule and coordinate IMS audit activities across departments.
Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate conformity with management system standards and organisational requirements.
Identify and document audit findings, non-conformities, observations and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor and follow up on corrective actions arising from audit findings.
Coordinate with departments to ensure the timely closure of audit findings.
Support and facilitate certification, surveillance, regulatory and external audits.
Review and monitor management system documentation to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.
DOCUMENT & RECORD GOVERNANCECoordinate and oversee document control activities across SATSSB.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date document registers, control logs and records.
Verify that only current and approved documents are available to authorised users.
Control the distribution, revision, withdrawal and retention of organisational documents.
Prevent the unintended use of obsolete or superseded documents.
Ensure documents and records are appropriately secured, protected, retained and retrievable.
Administer and monitor the Electronic Document Management System (E-DMS) and central document repository.
Guide and advise departments on document numbering, version control, retention and record-management requirements.
Review and improve document-control processes to enhance traceability, accessibility and governance.
AWARENESS, TRAINING & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENTDevelop awareness materials relating to compliance, risk management, BCM, integrity, ABAC, QMS and ISMS.
Plan and conduct training, briefings and awareness sessions for employees and relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate organisational awareness programmes, seminars, workshops and engagement activities.
Communicate relevant governance, compliance, risk and integrity requirements to employees.
Liaise with departments, Group functions, auditors, regulators and external stakeholders.
Promote organisational understanding and ownership of compliance, risk and governance responsibilities.
REPORTING, MONITORING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTPrepare periodic reports, dashboards, presentations and management papers.
Monitor compliance, risk, BCM, integrity and management system performance.
Track and follow up on agreed action plans with responsible departments.
Analyse trends, recurring findings, emerging risks and control weaknesses.
Recommend corrective, preventive and improvement measures.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls, processes and mitigation measures.
Identify and implement opportunities to digitalise and improve monitoring and reporting processes.
Support management decision-making through timely risk, compliance and governance information.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESProvide professional and administrative support to the Head of Department/Division on compliance, risk and integrity management matters.
Participate in committees, projects and organisational initiatives relating to governance, risk, compliance, integrity and business continuity.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and integrity when handling sensitive organisational information.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Management.
EDUCATIONMinimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Quality Management, Governance, Law or a related field.
Professional certification in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Integrity or Quality Management Systems is an added advantage.
Certification or formal training in ISO 9001, ISO 27001, Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001), Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management or Internal Auditing is preferred.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification or progress towards professional certification is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCEMinimum seven (7) years of relevant working experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Governance, Integrity, Quality Management, Business Continuity or related functions.
